Your donation will be spit 2 ways:
Gift #1: Donation to People for Puget Sound – A local organization aimed to “ protect and restore the health of our land and waters through education and action”, for Puget Sound.
Gift #2: Donation to Bainbridge Schools Foundation – Unfortunately, there was a $2.1M budget shortfall for 2009-2010. Funding is used to bridge this gap for BI schools by funding teacher salaries to reduce class sizes, teacher training and classroom enrichment.

Buy this bag - you are giving hope to our environment!

About the fundraiser organizer:  I am an environmental scientist.  With recent time due to a layoff, I came up with this idea to support 2 of my passions in life: education and the environment.  After working professionally in pollution remediation for 12 years, my knowledge of contamination in our environment greatly exceeds my tolerance.  I believe the POWER in cleaning up the environment is in the hands of the people!
How to Pay:  Your donation is tax deductible.  You can write a check directly to either “Bainbridge Schools Foundation” or “People for Puget Sound”.  Use your check as a tax receipt, or I can provide you with one if necessary.
                        To Order: Rose Defawe @ (206) 437-8610, or rose_eppers@hotmail.com

Bags will also be sold locally outside of grocery stores, hardware store and the ferry terminal February through April or until supplies last.
